Loading your computer for formatting To load your computer for formatting, you need to have a boot disk. They are available here. Boot from your floppy disk into DOS. Once you have entered DOS, you simply need to know which drive to format. Your main drive letter is C:, so if you want to format C:, you enter the words "format c:" and hit enter. You will be prompted to confirm the action before it continues. WARNING: Formatting will result in complete loss of data. |
