What is fdisk? Fdisk is an application on a windows boot disk that is used to partition a hard drive. Partitioning means to split up the usable space on the hard drive into manageable sizes. Sometimes a hard disk is partitioned once to use the whole disk, other times it is partitioned multiple times to create multiple "drives". Where can I get fdisk? Fdisk is available on Windows bootable floppy disks which can be downloaded here. WARNING: Using fdisk may cause unwanted results such as complete data loss. Use with extreme caution. |
